Starting a relationship with an orthodontist can be overwhelming. Ensley Orthodontics takes special care to provide straight answers to all of your questions without burying you in overly technical jargon. Whether you’re looking for answers about insurance or financial matters or treatment options including traditional braces, Invisalign® or the Damon™ System, you’ll know what to expect over the course of your orthodontic treatment, beginning with your very first visit. Our goal is to provide you the information you need about orthodontia and your treatment and financial options, so that you can make informed decisions.

During your first, complimentary visit we’ll review your needs and inform you about treatment options. Today’s orthodontic solutions not only minimize the length of treatment but are more comfortable and discreet than ever before!

To make the most of your initial visit, please bring the following:

• Completed Patient Information Forms
• Information on any dental and/or orthodontic insurance coverage you may have
• Parents or guardians if under the age of 18

What to Expect

• A great environment that will make your visits to the orthodontist fun and comfortable
• Allow 60 to 90 minutes for your first visit
• Diagnostic x-rays may be taken to help determine the best treatment and timing for you
• We’ll discuss treatment recommendations and timing
• Initial records (photos, study models, etc.) may be created

If You Need Treatment

If it’s determined that you need treatment and you’re comfortable with us, then we’ll schedule a diagnostic records appointment for you. This appointment will involve getting study models, diagnostic photographs, and a few more orthodontic x-rays. Depending on your schedule, records may be collected at your initial exam appointment to save you time.

Our treatment coordinator will take care of the non-clinical details, such as scheduling visits for your treatment and making financial arrangements. Finally, models and actual orthodontic gadgets will be presented so you can see how they look and work to improve your smile. Together with you, we determine the best course of action and set up a long-range plan that will end with a healthy mouth and a beaming smile.

Financing Options

You want the best possible orthodontic care available. After all, that’s why you’ve come to Ensley Orthodontics. But you also have a budget to consider. Ensley Orthodontics offers a variety of convenient and affordable budget options:

• Discounts for multiple family members
• Interest-free monthly installments with an initial payment
• No initial payment option through a convenient financing service

Factors that may affect the cost of your treatment include the severity of the problem and the length of your treatment.

All of your questions regarding the financial aspects of your care will be answered by our Financial Coordinator. During your treatment the Financial Coordinator will also bill your insurance and manage your contract.

Personalized Care

When you’re an Ensley Orthodontics patient, you’ll experience a level of personal care you won’t find elsewhere. When you become an Ensley patient you’ll be assigned a personal Care Coordinator who will work with you throughout your orthodontic treatment. Most of your appointments will be with your Care Coordinator who will be familiar with your treatment and special needs and serves as your connection to the Ensley office. Because your Care Coordinator knows your treatment history your appointments will run more smoothly and your interaction with Dr. Ensley will be more effective.
