The Damon™ System

If you've ever heard the terms speed braces or self-ligating brackets, then you’ve heard of Damon Brackets. The two greatest benefits are that Damon Brackets make it easier to keep your teeth clean and increase your comfort.

The latest version of Damon Brackets uses a unique, self-ligating bracket system. Think of it as a "sliding door." The sliding door system uses low-force wires with brackets that allow the wire to slide back and forth, eliminating the need for the ligatures (little rubber bands) that traditional braces for teeth use to hold wires in place. In addition to being more efficient than traditional braces, this advancement means fewer adjustments and office visits. Plus, Damon Brackets are smaller than traditional orthodontic brackets, so not as much food gets trapped around them!
