Your aligners are created based on special impressions of your teeth, using 3-D computer imaging technology. With Invisalign, most people won’t notice you’re in orthodontic treatment and you can remove the aligners for special events, eating and brushing. Here’s how Invisalign works:

• No metal wires or bands
• Remove aligners to eat, brush and floss
• Change aligners every two weeks
• Your teeth move gradually
• Progress checks every six weeks
• You’ll often see result in less time than conventional treatments

Not everyone makes a good candidate for Invisalign. Invisalign works best for people with moderate crowding or extra space, and you must have your second molars (12-year molars). Invisalign usually costs about the same amount as traditional braces.
