Meet Dr. Ensley

Dr. Ensley is a native of the Portland area. He graduated cum laude from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Dental School in 1989 and conducted his general dentistry residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. After completing his orthodontic residency at OHSU in 1991, Dr. Ensley launched Ensley Orthodontics.

Continuing education is a priority for Dr. Ensley, investing three times the required hours in special courses and training such as Damon™ Bracket mechanics, efficiencies in orthodontics, advanced aesthetics, and occlusion courses. He also stays current by participating in regional and local orthodontic study groups and boards. Dr. Ensley is an expert in utilizing the Invisalign® system and trains other dental professionals in its use.

He also stays current by reading a number of medical journals and is an active member of:

• the Sunset Study Club and Tri-county Orthodontic Research Group
• the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists www.pcsortho.org
• the Oregon State Society of Orthodontics
• OHSU Board of Directors and Alumni Association www.ohsu.edu

When he's not in the office helping patients, you'll find Dr. Ensley outdoors - with a paddle, fishing rod, or ski pole in his hand.
